Candidate Qualifying for 2026 Local Elections (Pickens County Commissioner District 1 & Board of Education Posts 2, 3, 5 is March 2-6, 2026

Monday-Thursday: 9 am - 5 pm
Friday: 9 am - 12 pm

Independents qualify at the Pickens County Board of Elections Office (3100 Camp Road, Suite B, Jasper).
Note: Closed for lunch 12-1 pm.

Republicans qualify at the Pickens County Recreation Center (1329 Camp Rd, Jasper).

Democrats contact the local Democratic Party (chair@pickensdemocrats.org) or Board of Elections for specific location details.

Qualifying Fees:
$306 for Board of Commissioners
$50 for Board of Education
