MORE INFORMATION
Patriot Day is a United States national observance that honors the memory of those killed in the September 11 attacks. It is not a public holiday; therefore, government offices, educational institutions, and businesses do not close.
On Patriot Day, the national flag is flown at half-mast on all United States government buildings and establishments. Individuals are encouraged to display flags in their homes.
The Veterans Memorial Park will host the annual national observance of Patriot Day on Monday, September 11, at 11:00 a.m. This annual ceremony is held at Veterans Memorial Park. The ceremonies performed at the park indeed reveal the sacrifices every American has made since September 11.
Everyone is invited to attend this event.
