[ October 17, 2025 ] The words Comic Con are pretty well known these days... what with all the Cons happening all over America. There are several big cons in Atlanta... but who wants to pay those exorbitant entrance fees and fight the traffic, parking and huge crowds? Finally, Jasper Georgia is the home of its very own Comic Con - The Georgia Mountain Charity Comic Con!

This event with space for up to 100 artists/vendors will be held at the Chattahoochee Tech Conference Center, located at 100 Campus Drive, Jasper, GA. on October 31st - November 1st celebrating Halloween and all the geekiness that comes with a Con. Friday's fun starts at noon and goes till 9 p.m. with Saturday activities starting at 10 a.m. and closing at 8 p.m.

Our Comic Con will be full of fun and excitement with special guests, cosplay competition and a special Halloween "Walk-Spook-Tackular" for all the kids on Halloween as they do their own trick or treating inside the safety of the con with each vendor offering a special treat for the tiny super heroes. Saturday's fun includes the 501st Garrison Legion of "Storm Troopers" and other Galactic characters. These guys are great and love to pose for a snap shot memory with anyone who asks. The Cos Players are welcome both Friday and Saturday but competition for the best costume will be held Saturday afternoon. It's a chance for all of us to be a kid again...no age limits!

Enjoy the day without interruption by chowing down on any of the fabulous food selections and snacks our vendors are preparing just for you. A special "Tatooine Cantina" snack area will bring exotic drinks and snacks. Come early and stay late!

Special guests will be there to sign autographs, speak on topics that are "secrets of success in the comic book realm", offer workshops, a premier viewing of an original sci-fi movie from a Hollywood producer and more! All of this plus fantastic artists and vendors offering treasures unlike any seen before. All that is good there is not just about comic books and super-heroes.

There will be plenty of artists and craftsmen and women with original works that are begging to be taken home. Truly, something perfect for every taste. A professional photographer will also be there to capture you in your ultimate geekiness. It's a happening place to be and you will want to be there!

You can feel good about enjoying your day knowing that a portion of your ticket price is being donated to the County Library System. What better cause for a Comic Con than to help promote reading with the kids?

Kids ages 5-18 are invited to participate in our Student Super-Hero Art Competition with cash prizes! Art can not exceed 8.5 x 11 inches. The theme of the contest is 'Super-Heroes' with one entry per person. Entry may be emailed to gamountaincharitycomiccon@gmail.com or dropped off at Con sponsor, Comics Cards and Collectibles located at 4070 Camp Road, Jasper, GA 30143. Judging is based on creativity, design and use of color. Name, age, and contact info should be put on the back of entries. All entries will be displayed during the Con.

Tickets are available at the door for $15 one day and $25 for a two day pass. Online prices are $12 and $22. Kids 12 and under are free with adults. Students with ID are admitted for two days for the price of one at the door.

Want to get in free? We are looking for some great volunteers. Must be at least 18 years of age and agree to help in a 4 hour shift. Volunteers will receive a free souvenir t-shirt and snacks. Find out more by checking out the website at www.gamountaincharitycomiccon.com. Limited slots are still available for qualified artists/vendors. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
