[ November 10, 2025 ] Glorious colors graced the trees at Lee Newton Park across from the Jasper Farmers Market. The customers and vendors were in good humor, while Zach Henson's last puppy wondered who would take her home and give her a worthy name for such a beautiful, tiny black and tan mini dachshund? She certainly gets plenty of attention!
Eggs (including duck eggs) are still available from three vendors. Coffee is available from at least three vendors. And the three 'P's are persimmons, peppers, and potatoes available from three or more vendors along with breads, meats, and jellies galore! One vendor had fresh apple butter. So good on "raisin toast" as one customer said. How about on a ham sandwich?
Next Saturday, although cool, will still be decent enough weather to shop at the Jasper Farmers Market. It's a great place to find unique gifts, crafty decor, and more. Anne Hlibert has switched from succulents to delightful ornaments. If you get invited to a party and need a Secret Santa gift, you can never go wrong with an ornament! And the crochet work some of these clever crafters make are adorable. Cute never goes out of style. Keep your eyes open for some of the humorous craft items. Everyone enjoys a smile.
So! The Jasper Farmers Market opens at 9 am and closes at noon. It is located across from the Veterans Memorial in the Park N Ride parking lot. Plus, keep in mind that there are only a few more weeks left of the FM. It will run until December 13th. Keep a jacket handy to go with your shopping basket and hope it's not needed.
