Dungeons & Dragons 5e

Calling all Adventurers! Your campaign awaits. Whether this is your first game or you're a seasoned player, join us at the Pickens County Library for a One Shot! Registration Required.

Family Storytime
November 6, 10:00 AM

Join us at the Pickens County Library's Family Storytime, led by librarian Cory! We will read, sing, play, and make a craft. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Medicare 101 with Michelle Atkinson
November 8, 10:00 AM

Choosing between Medicare Advantage plans can be confusing for many. It's important to understand how each program operates so you can make an informed decision. Medicare 101 can help you understand the Medicare enrollment process, so you don't have to do it alone. Join local insurance agent Michelle Atkinson as she leads you on a journey through Medicare.

Baron the Reading Dog

Join us at Pickens County Library to read to Baron the Reading Dog! This program helps with building confidence in reading and for speaking in public. Register for a 15 minute slot to read in a stress-free environment. Time slots run between 4:00-5:30pm. Bring a book or pick one from the library. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Farm Bureau Storytime

Join Ms. Rachel for a storytime and craft with our friends from the Farm Bureau. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Bingo with Friends

B-I-N-G-O! All are invited to stop by the Pickens County Library for a fabulous game of BINGO! Winners will receive Bookstore Bucks to our Friends of the Library Book Sale!

Plants & Paints
November 14, 2:30 PM

Join the Pickens County Master Gardeners for an informative and fun session learning about Plants/Gardening and creating your own art! Learn about the Native Flower of the Month & "Beloved Perennials of Georgia." Registration is required.

Read to Rae

Teens: Knit & Crochet Basics

Teens! At this afternoon program, we will practice the basics of knitting & crocheting. Assorted sizes and types of yarn, knitting needles, & crochet hooks will be available to try out. Follow along with a simple pattern or get advice on starting/finishing a project! Teen crafters of all skill levels are welcome. No registration required. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
