Pickens Library October Events To Know

[ October 01, 2025 ] Pickens County Library Announcements and Events

The Sequoyah Regional Library System (SRLS) is celebrating Support Your Library Month throughout October by highlighting ways the communities in Cherokee, Pickens, and Gilmer counties can help the library thrive. Community members are encouraged to support the SRLS through financial gifts, material donations, volunteering, or by joining a Friends of the Library group, which are volunteer organizations that advocate for and fundraise for the library.

Additionally, a powerful way to show support is simply by signing up for a free library card if you live, pay taxes, or own property in one of the three counties, granting access to books, digital resources, experience passes, and more.
