What to Know in Pickens This Weekend!

[ August 07, 2025 ] Visit Pickens has put together a jam-packed weekend of small-town mountain experiences, running from Thursday, August 7, to Sunday, August 10. The schedule is full of live music, local markets, and other activities.

Thursday's events include an Open Mic Night with Rusted Melody at Talking Rock Brewery and a "How To: Crochet a Granny Square" session at the Pickens County Library.

On Friday, you can enjoy a Sunset Supper and Concert at Fainting Goat Vineyards or Surrender Hill Live! at Old Mulehouse. There is also Trivia at Talking Rock Brewery and at Pendley Creek Brewing Company.

Saturday starts with the Jasper Farmers Market at Lee Newton Park. Later in the day, Jasper Downtown Live, featuring Tyson Leamon with opening by Matt Chastain, will take place on Main Street. Other events include live music at various locations and a Low Country Boil at Cairn View Winery.

Sunday features live music performances by Dawn Loves Nash at Old Mulehouse and Hunter Flanagan at Fainting Goat Vineyards. You can also catch the Loose Shoes Band and Gage Adams at Rocco's Pub and Canoe Vineyard & Winery, respectively.
