[ October 16, 2025 ] Crisp air, colorful leaves, and the sound of live music drifting through the North Georgia mountains - fall weekends in Pickens County, GA are pure magic! This week, the mountains host a fantastic heritage festival, pumpkin patches, and local music.

This weekend, everyone will want to know about the 31st Annual Talking Rock Heritage Days Festival! Running Saturday and Sunday in the Town of Talking Rock, this huge event features tons of vendors, delicious festival food, and live music all weekend long. For families, there are special children's activities including a Treat Trail & Candy Crawl Scavenger Hunt to enjoy.

Thursday, October 16, marks the start of the weekend festivities. Patrons can enjoy the weekly Open Mic Night with Rusted Melody at Talking Rock Brewery, or showcase their talent at Sharptop Distilling Co.'s Open Mic.

Friday, October 17, is a night of community fun. Teams can gather for Hard Hitting Trivia at Talking Rock Brewery. Other evening events include a Food Truck Friday at Cairn View Winery and the Fear Ridge Fall Festival at Bear Ridge Paintball.

Saturday, October 18, is action-packed with the start of the Talking Rock Heritage Days Festival. Earlier in the day, the Jasper Farmers Market is open at Lee Newton Park (9:00 AM). Throughout the afternoon, visitors can enjoy live music at Talking Rock Brewery and various wineries, and pick their own Muscadines at Bella Orchards.

Sunday, October 19, brings the final day of the Talking Rock Heritage Days Festival with live music at Talking Rock Brewery stage from 9 to 4 pm, or check out the "Harvest Blue Paint & Sip" event at Fainting Goat Vineyards.
