[ June 22, 2020 ] Pickens County Schools is dedicated to student growth and success and must also prioritize the health and safety of our students, staff, and greater community. We are eager to see students back in our halls, but we are aware of the concerns and questions that remain ahead.

These plans were created using the recommendations from the Georgia Department of Education?s "Georgia's Path to Recovery for K-12 Schools".
Pickens County Schools will determine the plan based on the specific level of spread in Pickens County as determined by the Department of Public Health.
It is our responsibility as an academic institution to provide a reliable and effective learning experience for our students each year while balancing the implications of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. Additional preventative measures will be implemented in schools to mitigate the spread of the virus.
