Georgia Marble Festival Postponed Until 2022

[ August 06, 2021 ] The Pickens County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has been working closely with local health officials to monitor our community?s status regarding COVID-19 and hospital space available for all illnesses/accidents. This coupled with supply and transportation issues has led us to realize we cannot host a successful and safe Marble Festival. Therefore, we are extremely sad to announce that the 40th Annual Georgia Marble Festival will be postponed until 2022.

While we have spent countless hours preparing to host the festival this year it has become apparent that holding the annual festival would put our community at risk.

This decision was very difficult and not made without taking all factors into consideration. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to keep our community and families safe.
