[ November 14, 2022 ] Again, another wonderful Autumn market day with many vendors in attendance hoping to attract customers to their wares and services. It?s a great time to hone your kitchen knives for carving turkey or cleaning up your garden tools from Y-Not Sharp.
Nick and Ashley Riggin of Riggin Farm offer pasture raised meats and eggs, fresh from their farm produce and flowers, plus soaps. Other new vendors, Haley Gilstrap of Rustic Cowgirl Creations along with Adam of Adam?s Metal Creations filled a table with interesting choices of welded horseshoes creations, earrings and more. Again another new vendor, Gabriel McPherson of Co-Pallet Designs has a unique custom wood photos line.
Good to see new people coming with their goods!
Zack White is back with violas, pansy, and kale for your cold weather garden. Angelina from Ellijay brought wonderful greenery filled table decor perfect for the holidays. Filled with pine, rosemary, lavender, pine cones, etc., each display has a refillable jar, so the greens stay hydrated and beautiful for weeks of display.
Be sure to come to the Jasper Farmers Market to find that perfect decor or gifts!
The Farmers Market is sponsored by the Pickens County Master Gardeners. You will find the market by Lee Newton park across from the Veterans Memorial.
With bread, jams, jellies, produce, eggs, sorbet, fried pie, dessert pies, cakes, meats, and micro-greens, you won?t go hungry. Thank you Kebra of Red Bean Harvest and Antonia Guerra, The Pie Lady, for providing hot coffee and hot chocolate to keep everyone, customers and vendors, warm and smiling!
