[ March 22, 2023 ] From Super Late Models to the ARCA Menards Series to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and, most recently, the NASCAR Xfinity Series, Chandler Smith of Talking Rock has been climbing the stock car racing ladder for several years. However, the 20-year-old has deep roots in racing that go back to the quarter-mile Thunder Ring track at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Chandler Smith, who hails from Talking Rock, Georgia, has been making a name for himself in the racing world with his impressive skills behind the wheel. With Roofing Georgia's sponsorship, Smith was able to compete in the Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where he put on a thrilling performance for fans in the No. 16 Quick Tie Chevy Camaro.

As the green flag waved, Chandler Smith took to the track with a determined focus, knowing that he had the support of Quick Tie, Roofing Georgia, Leaf Filter, Celsius and other sponsors behind him. The team had put in countless hours of hard work, preparing the No. 16 Quick Tie Chevy Camaro for the demanding race.

The partnership between Roofing Georgia and Smith is a natural fit, as both share a commitment to excellence and a dedication to hard work. For Roofing Georgia, the sponsorship provides an opportunity to showcase its brand to a wide audience of racing fans, while for Smith, it gives him the resources he needs to continue pursuing his dreams.

"We're thrilled to be sponsoring Chandler Smith in the Xfinity Series," said David Robinson, CEO of Roofing Georgia. "Chandler is an incredibly talented driver, and we are honored to support him as he competes against the best drivers in the world."

Smith battled hard throughout the race, constantly fighting for position, and making impressive moves to keep himself in contention. His skills were on full display as he expertly navigated the twists and turns of the track, earning him the respect of his fellow competitors and the admiration of his fans.

With just over 30 laps to go in the final stage of the race, Chandler Smith's No. 16 car experienced a rear gear failure, causing him to withdraw from the Raptor 250 race for the day. Unfortunately, Smith was unable to continue racing, and as a result, he finished the race in 28th position. Smith improved his position in the standings from fifth to fourth despite coming in 28th overall.

"It wasn't the day the No. 16 Quick Tie team wanted, but it's these days that show us who we are as a group. I felt like we had lots of speed and could've continued our top-five streak but results like this are what you sometimes get with superspeedway racing. It's about the process in addition to the results, though, and I felt like our crew really helped salvage the speed I knew we had without the left-front damage. That gives us all confidence that we have the potential for a special season. We'll be back next week." ~ Chandler Smith

The partnership with Roofing Georgia proved to be a winning combination as the team's support helped Chandler Smith secure a top-five finish in the race. The Quick Tie team commitment to excellence and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of their involvement with the race, from the preparation of the car to the support they provided throughout the event.

The Roofing Georgia team was equally thrilled with the results. "We're extremely proud of Chandler and the entire team for their performance in today's race," said David Robinson, owner of Roofing Georgia. "It's a testament to their hard work and dedication, and we're honored to have been a part of it."

As the NASCAR Xfinity Series continues, fans can look forward to seeing more of Chandler Smith and the Roofing Georgia team in action, as they continue to push the limits and strive for greatness.
