[ January 09, 2024 ] Pickens County School District will be operating on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, January 10th.

We will be monitoring winter weather forecasts and working with law enforcement and emergency management to ensure the roads are safe for travel.

Please monitor our official school closure channels for updates.

Buses will be on a 2-hour delay.

SCHOOL START TIMES

Harmony, Hill City, and Tate Elementary Schools, as well as Jasper Middle School
Starts at 10:30 am
Early drop-off at 9:30 am

Pickens Junior High & High School
Starts at 9:45 am

District offices will be open at 10 am.

UPDATE: Due to weather and roadway conditions throughout the county, Pickens County School District will be cancelling all classes for today January 9th, 2024.

Please note that District Offices will also be closed and staff are not to report to work.

We look forward to better weather and our students returning tomorrow, January 10th.
