National Library Week: April 7 - April 13
Adventure awaits at Sequoyah Regional Library System! From Sunday, April 7 through Saturday, April 13, celebrate National Library Week with Sequoyah Regional Library System. This year, your local public library is celebrating all the different ways your library card can help you choose your own adventure. From beginning your culinary adventure by checking out a cookbook to beginning your musical adventure by checking out a ukulele, your SRLS library card is your ticket to discovery. Experience Passes Available!
Join us Saturday, March 16 at Pickens County Library for a Disney themed Sequoyah-Con! With programs for all ages such as Pick Your Sidekick: Petting Zoo, DIY Mouse Ears, and a Jedi Training Academy, there's something for everyone at Sequoyah-Con!
Friends of the Pickens County Library
The Friends of the Pickens County Library have gently used books available for purchase any time the library is open! The board members of Friends of the Pickens Library stock the shelves and collect the case and check from the black box near the book display. You can also pay using your credit card and the QR code. The Friends of the Pickens County Library bookshelf is located inside the Pickens County Library.

LEGO Lab

Drop in for Lego Lab! Registration is not required, but children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Family Storytime
April 10, 10:30 AM
Family Storytimes are designed for families with children of all ages. This program features stories, singing, dancing, fingerplays, and crafts. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Great Stories Club Book Tasting
April 10, 6:00 PM
Join us at the library for pizza, games, and some good books! This evening's featured title is Anger is a Gift by Mark Oshiro. Participants will get to choose a book to take home.
Plants and Paints
April 12, 3:00 PM
Come join the Pickens County Master gardeners at our Pickens County Library for a fun and informative "Plants and Paints" Session. Learn what plants are invasive and how they can negatively impact the natural ecosystem. Bonus- Learn what to plant in their place. Then, you will create a 5x7 canvas of a beautiful, noninvasive harbinger of Spring! Registration is required.
Lee Newton Park Pop-Up Storytime
April 16, 10:00 AM
Join us at Lee Newton Park's pavilion for a Pop-up Library and a storytime! Our storytimes support early literacy with books, songs, and fingerplays. After the storytime, stay for our Pop-Up Library to get a new card, return your books, or borrow new ones! No registration is required. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Baron the Reading Dog

Join us at Pickens County to read to Baron the Reading Dog! Register for a 15 minute slot to read in a stress-free environment. Time slots run between 4:00pm-5:30pm. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.
Dungeons and Dragons 5e
April 25, 5:00 PM
Calling all Adventurers! Your campaign awaits. Whether this is your first game or you're a seasoned player, join us at the Pickens County Library for a One Shot! Dungeons & Dragons players of all ages are welcome but please keep in mind that this program may be too advanced for younger children. BINGO with Friends!
