[ April 18, 2024 ] Pickens County 4-Hers had the honor of speaking to Retired Educators at their monthly luncheon on April 10th.

Sophie Morgan, Cloverleaf 4-Her, performed her Cotton Boll commercial.

Miranda Childers, Junior 4-Her, talked about gardening and showed off her skills with canning by answering questions about canning. She was extra excited to show off her family's newest creation of jelly from wild violets from her yard.

There were three Senior 4-Hers (high schoolers) in attendance. Micah Newton entertained the crowd with his trombone, but also reflected on what was happening the day he was a PAGE for Representative Jasperse.

Sophia Scott shared about her project Stronger 2gether developed to show appreciation for farmers.

To end the program, Reese Davis did her full length demonstration that won her a seat at the state competition in July.

Pickens County 4-H would like to express their gratitude to PCREA for allowing us a time on their agenda.
