Jasper Farmers Market Report

[ September 09, 2024 ] Beautiful day for the Jasper Farmers Market!

Autumn is in the air, somewhere, but it's still Summer with all the veggies available. Potatoes, peppers, watermelon, yum! Greens and garlic, too. Still, there was butternut squash and Indian corn available as well.

Wayne Poore, USMC, brought his Rose of Sharon trees. He knows that Fall is the best time to plant trees. Semper Fi, Wayne!

And if you need a dragon, or two, or even more go see Drysdale Dragons to fill your pockets full of fantasy.

Alyssa was playing her banjo loud! Her music really adds some sparkle to the market.

Two Sisters were at it again with all the gifts that they made. And Champlin Designs has a variety of items, some crocheted.

The Farmers Market is full of creativity! Go see Clyde Baisey of Sea Pa Create Art Worxz.

And if you need advice on growing peppers go to Sgt. Peppers tent and you will get a Pep Talk! Trent and Elizabeth will confirm it's not so easy. You will appreciate their spicy jelly, jams, and rubs all the more knowing it is something they have worked for.

Two more Summer Saturdays for the Jasper Farmers Market, then Autumn begins Sunday the 22nd. The 28th will be the last Farmers Market that starts at 7:30am. There will be no JFM the first weekend of October, the 5th, as it will be Marble Fest! Yay!

New hours for the Farmers Market beginning October 12th; 9 am until 1 pm. The FM will still be in the Park N Ride parking lot across from the Veterans Memorial Park.
