FRIENDS of the Pickens County Library
The Friends of the Pickens County Library have gently used books available for purchase any time the library is open! The board members of Friends of the Pickens Library stock the shelves and collect the case and check from the black box near the book display. You can also pay using your credit card and the QR code. The Friends of the Pickens County Library bookshelf is located inside the Pickens County Library.

Baron the Reading Dog
November 4, 4:00 PM

Join us at Pickens County Library to read to Baron the Reading Dog! Bring a book or pick one from the library. This program helps with building confidence in reading and for speaking in public. Register for a 15 minute slot to read in a stress-free environment. Time slots run between 4:00-5:30pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Family Storytime
November 6, 11:00 AM

Bring the family! This special time is planned for families with children of all ages. This month's theme is cats! There will be storytime, followed by interactive fun with songs and finishing up with a craft! All children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Career Spotlight: Welding with Chattahoochee Tech

Whether you're considering a career change, exploring options in manufacturing and engineering technologies, or seeking to enter the construction profession, this presentation will offer valuable information and guidance.

Plants and Paints
November 8, 3:00 PM

Come and join the Pickens County Master Gardeners at our Pickens County Library for an informative and fun session learning about Plants/Gardening and creating your own art! Learn how to save Asclepsia seeds for planting in the Spring to benefit Pollinators. Then you will create a decorative Holiday 8x10 painting. Registration is Required.

Tiny Tots & Toddlers

Join us for an enchanting story time experience designed specially for infants and toddlers! Our interactive sessions feature a delightful mix of story songs, playful dances, creative crafts, and fun activities. Our sessions are carefully curated to stimulate their imagination, promote early literacy skills, and encourage social interaction in a warm and welcoming environment.

LEGO Lab
November 13, 4:00 PM

Have your imagination ready! All are welcome to come and create! The final creations will be used to help decorate our library! Drop-in program. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by adult.

November 22, 10:00 AM

B-I-N-G-O! All are invited to stop by the Pickens County Library for a fabulous game of BINGO! Winners will receive Bookstore Bucks to our Friends of the Library Book Sale!
