FRIENDS of the Pickens County Library
The Friends of the Pickens County Library have gently used books available for purchase any time the library is open! The board members of Friends of the Pickens Library stock the shelves and collect the case and check from the black box near the book display. You can also pay using your credit card and the QR code. The Friends of the Pickens County Library bookshelf is located inside the Pickens County Library.

Holiday Open House
December 3, 5:30 PM

Join us for our holiday open house! Get into the festive spirit with crafts, hot cocoa, and cookies. And visit with Santa! Alliance of Therapy Dogs will be here with Baron and his new partner, Rae. This family-friendly event is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season and create lasting memories with loved ones.

Unlocking Your Future: Adult Education with Chattahoochee Tech

Are you ready to take the next step toward achieving your educational and career goals? Join us for a comprehensive seminar designed to support adult learners on their journey to obtaining their GED or HiSET credential, presented by Chattahoochee Technical College.

Tiny Tots & Toddlers

Join us for an enchanting story time experience designed specially for infants, toddlers and their caregivers! Our interactive sessions feature a delightful mix of story songs, playful dances, creative crafts, and fun activities. Our sessions are carefully curated to stimulate their imagination, promote early literacy skills, and encourage social interaction in a warm and welcoming environment.

Family Storytime

Bring the family! This special time is planned for families with children of all ages. This month's theme is Winter! There will be storytime, followed by interactive fun with songs and finishing up with a craft! All children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Farm Bureau Storytime
December 12, 4:00 PM

Join us for a storytime and craft with our friends from the Farm Bureau. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Plants and Paints
December 13, 3:00 PM

Come and join the Pickens County Master Gardeners at our Pickens County Library for an informative and fun session learning about Plants/Gardening and creating your own art! Learn about the Holiday Evergreens, create a holiday swag and design an awesome holiday ornament. Registration is Required.

Holiday Makerspace
December 14, 12:00 PM

Our holiday maker space program offers crafting stations where kids can unleash their creativity and make personalized presents for their loved ones. From handmade cards to DIY ornaments, the crafting stations provide all the materials and tools needed to create unique and special gifts. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

American Red Cross Blood Drive
December 17, 1:00 PM

The American Red Cross is scheduled to hold a blood drive in the Community Room 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Donors should schedule their appointment directly with the Red Cross.

Noon Year's Eve
December 31, 11:30 AM

Come celebrate the noon year with us at our festive Noon Years Eve Party! Join us for a balloon drop, tasty punch, yummy snacks, dance-worthy music, and creative crafts. We'll count down to noon and kick off the new year in style. This family-friendly event promises lots of laughter, happiness, and great company.
